The Barn owls are endangered. They are endangered for many reasons. One reason there is not as many farms as there used to be. An second reason is rodent poison it caused less food. An third reason is because of people messing up their nest. Harsh weather is another cause. Also getting attack by dogs. The Barn Owls are pale. They are white with black specks. They have long legs and no ears. Males can weigh up to nineteen ounces, and can be up to fifteen inches long, and have an wingspan up to forty-five inches. Females cam weigh up to twenty-five ounces, and can be up to twenty inches long, and can have a wing spam of forty-seven inches. The Barn owls are excellent hunters. This is possible because of their keen eyesight and hearing. They eat meadow voles, mice and shrews. In addition, they eat also bats, skunks ,some birds, and frogs.
